Harvey Herman Edward Marty was born on Easter, April 8, 1928, in Leigh, Nebraska to Herman and Francis Jane Marty. He died October 7, 2016 at his home in St. George Utah. He was 88 years old.
Harvey attended school at Wayne State Prep. He was a professional Truck Driver for 45 years and retired from Consolidated Freightways. He married Loretta Meisner on July 23, 1952 in Evanston, Wyoming, who preceded him in death. They raised three daughters and one step-son. He enjoyed fishing at Soldier Creek reservoir and spending time with his daughters...

Harvey is survived by his sister, Alice May Dawson (Neil); daughters, Patty (Tim) Bennett, Janet (Gary) Whiting, Julie (Gerald) Benge, and Jim (Donna) Ward; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter.
Services will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 13249 South Redwood Road, Riverton, UT on Saturday, October 15, 2016. The viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will be from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Interment at Valley View Memorial at 11:30 a.m. Family will receive friends the day of the funeral, before and after services at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
