Carol Bruno Petersen, 86, died June 14, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Dominic Albert and Florence Waters Bruno on March 31, 1931.
She attended schools in West Jordan, Utah and graduated from Jordan High School. She was the school historian her senior year and in 1947 she was chosen Queen of the Salt Lake County Fair. Carol was an active member of Westvale Presbyterian Church and also was a member of Ada Chapter 15065 until her stroke. Carol married Kenneth J Petersen on April 30, 1951,...

Carol Bruno Petersen, 86, died June 14, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Dominic Albert and Florence Waters Bruno on March 31, 1931.
She attended schools in West Jordan, Utah and graduated from Jordan High School. She was the school historian her senior year and in 1947 she was chosen Queen of the Salt Lake County Fair. Carol was an active member of Westvale Presbyterian Church and also was a member of Ada Chapter 15065 until her stroke. Carol married Kenneth J Petersen on April 30, 1951, and had four children.
Carol is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her children, Scott Bruno Petersen, Proctor, MN, Nancy (Tom) Jensen-Brown, Cedar City, UT, Teri (Floyd) Anderson, Wales, UT and Toni (Bill) Batt, Riverton, UT; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, two sisters, Jacqueline McMullin and Geraldine (Don) Callas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother in law, Clell McMullin.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
