Obituary


Surrounded by her brother Bob, niece Ashley and close friend Cheryl, Our Beloved Sister, Aunt and friend passed away at home after a long courageous battle with kidney failure (Dialysis) and cancer on January 27, 2018.

Barbara and her twin sister Patty were born in Yonkers , New York on August 26, 1948. She graduated from Gorton High school in Yonkers. Barb worked for many years in the medical field administrative offices.

As her health declined Barb moved to Utah to be with her Brother Bob and Niece Ashley.

Barbara and her twin sister Patty were born in Yonkers , New York on August 26, 1948. She graduated from Gorton High school in Yonkers. Barb worked for many years in the medical field administrative offices.

As her health declined Barb moved to Utah to be with her Brother Bob and Niece Ashley.

Barbara is survived by her Brother Robert Jr. Nieces Ashley, Stacy and Dawn, Nephew Robert III and six great nephews and 4 great nieces.

Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Bird, Sister Patricia Terlecky Sanseverino and her Grandparents.

Barb will be remembered for the love of her family and family get togethers, her love of contemporary music, gardening which she continued on from her Grandmother. Barb loved Native American folklore and her small Teddy Bear collection.

The family would like to thank the staff from Encompass Hospice for the kindness and comfort they provided to Barbara and her family.

A graveside service will be held at Valley View Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
